He is a second-generation car dealer following in his father, Bill Freestone's footsteps, a credible figure in the Australian automotive industry having one of the oldest car dealerships on Parramatta Road at Ashfield - Apex Motors, famous for the yellow Austin Seven vintage car in the tree.

Shaun and his wife Daniela ran together 2 dealerships in Sydney's inner west over the past 10 Years and decided to move the dealership closer to home for more work life balance. They run their business within a niche market, characterised by the provision of late model, low mileage vehicles.
